Argyle continue their fine run of form in the League Cup, exiting at the first stage for the third year in a row. Neither the fans, the players nor Peter Reid are likely to be too bothered about the Greens elimination, but the lack of attacking potency against teams that set up defensively at Home Park is a worry and could prove to be a problem that takes a while to solve. Furthermore, tonight's result and performance punctures some of the good feeling that came out of Saturday's result and a promising pre-season.
